Tact 2026
TACT (Talented Athlete & Coach Training) is WDNA’s top development program for Coaches.
Coaches selected into TACT work alongside experienced pathway coaches, receive structured support, and gain practical experience coaching our TACT athlete squads in the lead-up to the Fuel to Go & Play Association Championships.
Across the six-week program, coaches will:
Plan and deliver weekly training sessions
Work within our coaching framework and development principles
Receive feedback and mentoring
Coach their allocated team at the Association Championships (WA Day long weekend)
TACT coaching is ideal for coaches wanting to extend their skills, gain pathway experience, or progress toward higher-level Netball WA coaching opportunities.
Trials:
Held throughout March, every Sunday and Monday (age-group dependent).
Training Block:
Weekly Monday trainings from 20 April to 25 May.
Association Championships:
30 May, 31 May & 1 June (WA Day long weekend).
Coaches must be available for trials, weekly trainings, and all three Championship days.
TACT Team Coaches must hold a minimum Development Accreditation
TACT Assistant Coaches must hold a minimum Foundation Accreditation
