Along with players, Coaches are an important part of the game. WDNA is also aware of the importance and significance of coaches and work to provide upskilling opportunities for coaching through various programs. 


WDNA have an array of coaching resources available for Hire from the office.


Beginner Coaching Courses

New coaches to WDNA, who do not have a coaching accreditation must attend these courses. If coaches have previously attended in 2024, then you do not need to attend again.


This is a hands on coaching session, designed specifically for beginner Coaches. 


Each session will cover the following: Essential Skills – Correct technique for all ball skills, footwork and defensive body positioning – shooting and attacking skills. 

All 2025 courses will be held at the WDNA Clubrooms then onto Court.

These courses are compulsory for new coaches to WDNA, who do not have any formal accreditation through Netball Australia.

Coach Development Face to Face

****NOW OPEN****


This course is available for WDNA Club and Association coaches aiming to further their netball knowledge.  It provides a good introduction to skill progression and fault detection with correction and is the final component of the Netball WA Development Accreditation.


***MUST BRING 2 ATHLETES EACH***

Rules of Netball Theory Examination

Our Face to Face Workshop will be held on Saturday 12 October 2024, from 8am – 12.00pm.


The course is open to WDNA coaches and will be held at our WDNA Clubrooms and the Far Courts. 

To register for the Face 2 Face, please log into Netball Learning.  Coaches that have not completed the prerequisites will be unable to enrol in the course.


This course is now open on the NWA’s website – via Netball Learning.


You have to enrol into the “Development Coach Accreditation” before enrolling into the workshop and make sure all Prerequisites are completed (including the “Development Coach Online Course”).
