Talented Athlete Coach Training
The TACT program was implemented in 2010/11 as the Association’s development pathway to assist with player and coach progression within the Netball WA pathway. Any WDNA affiliated players turning 12 or above (in the following year) can register to trial. Successful athletes will then represent Wanneroo Districts Netball Association at the Fuel to Go and play Association Championships, held over the June long weekend, at Matthews Netball Centre in Wembley.
WE WANT YOU…….Come and join the fun of Members Champs!
All coaches involved in the TACT program will be assisted with working their way through the Coach Accreditation pathway and will, in turn, use this knowledge to develop the Association talented athletes.
There will be greater emphasis on quality of the skills and strategies taught to the squad and a higher expectation that the chosen athletes will be able to produce these quality skills consistently. Information has also been forwarded to all club contacts to pass on to their members.
Any queries, please contact Petrina Pehi ADO via an email or call – Email: development@wdna.net.au
