JUNIOR Development Program 2024
The Program will be held over 6 weeks and is run on Wednesday nights from 6.00pm to 7.30pm at the Far Courts at WDNA.
JUNIOR ATHLETES: Boys & Girls aged from 10 years, 11 years & 12 years (turning in 2024 only)
Commencing on Wednesday 9 October, with the final session on Wednesday 13 November 2024, followed by BBQ and Fruit.
This program will be delivered by Accredited Coaches within WDNA, delivering essential skills of ball handling, footwork, general attacking and general defending.

This is the first Spring JUNIOR Development opportunity due to the closure of our spring competition. Numbers will be limited due to the volunteer of coaches that are required to run this program.
ATHLETES: Will be sorted into groups by their ages. Please advise of those friends that would like to be together in the same Age Group only.

For Safety Purposes – players are not to wear jewellery and fingernails are to be short as per normal match requirements please.

October School Holiday Clinic
Featuring WA Thunderboltz
Training Academy 2024
WDNA will be holding a School Holiday Players Clinic during 2024. Featuring NetSetGo Clinics for all Girls and Boy’s born from January 1st 2014 to December 31st 2017. The clinics will be for players registered with clubs at WDNA (please register players in the age group they are playing in with their team for Winter or Spring 2024) and surrounding associations.
The Program will run on the following days:
NETSETGO
NSG (Ages 7-10 born between Jan 2014 to Dec 2017)
Day 1 – Tuesday 1 October, 8.30am to 12.30pm
Players will receive coaching in the essential skills of ball handling, footwork, general attacking and general defending.
Day 2 – Wednesday 2 October, 8.30am to 12.30pm
Groups will play a series of matches against other groups in the same age division to put the skills learnt on Monday into practice. Umpires will be provided by the Umpire Development Squad.
JUNIORS GIRLS
11 to 13 years – Thursday 3 October, 8.30am to 12.30pm
Players will receive coaching in the essential skills of ball handling, footwork, general attacking and general defending.
11 to 13 years – Friday 4 October, 8.30am to 12.30pm
Groups will play a series of matches against other groups in the same age division to put the skills learnt into practice.
BOYS in NETBALL
WA THUNDERBOLTZ CLINIC” – our very own WA Thunder Athletes delivering 2 Days of skilled sessions to our Future Boys in Netball!
Players will receive coaching in the essential skills of ball handling, footwork, general attacking and general defending.
10 to 15 years – Thursday 3 October, 8.30am to 12.30pm
10 to 15 years – Friday 4 October, 8.30am to 12.30pm
Specialised sessions in Shooting – Midcourt and Defence – followed by general match play.

PROGRAM: Day One will involve players learning netball specific skills including ball work, shooting, foot work followed by match play. Day Two is starting with attacking and defence skills, followed by a round robin competition where teams will get the chance to practice these skills learnt in supervised match play.

TACT Trials 2024
The Fuel to Go & Play Association Championships will continue to be our most participated competition for associations in our state. To support continual growth for our athletes and coaches, our programs are designed to develop and enhance skills to be able to compete at a higher level.
All athletes who are interested in participating in this program must register through PlayHQ.

SPRING Tall Timber 2024
Our program is open to any Athlete that would like to improve on their agility, footwork, strength and coordination.
All athletes who are interested in participating, please do not hesitate to register for our last program for 2024.
We have a 4 week program commencing in November 2024.

PROGRAM: This is designed especially for tall players to help develop and improve agility, coordination, strength, balance, ball skills and footwork.
Open to any WDNA players aged 10yrs to 12yrs who are 165cm or taller & 13yrs to 15yrs who are 175cm or taller.
Places are limited, please make sure when measuring your son’s or daughters height – remove their shoes!
