was implemented by Netball WA in 2018 to bridge the gap between WANL and club netball. Players MUST have played at WDNA in 2018 in either spring or winter to be eligible to trial for Metro League. Registrations are now open and will close on Wednesday 7 November at 4pm! Please note, no late registrations will be accepted.

Trials will be held on the following nights;

Monday 12 November – 14/u and 16/u – 6pm to 8pm

Monday 19 November – 14/u, 16/u, 18/u and Open – 6pm to 8pm

Sunday 25 November – 14/u, 16/u, 18/u and Open – 4pm to 6pm

Please note teams will be dependant on coach availability.

Player leg numbers will be provided prior to trials, and will be listed via our website each week for successful athletes.

This competition will be run at the State Netball Centre on Friday evenings (possible Saturday/Sunday games for the 18/u team competing against regional associations) starting February 8 and finishing with finals on April 5. Times to be confirmed by Netball WA

Please ensure you have looked through the Metro League calendar, to ensure you can commit to the program and attend ALL training sessions and games.

Players successful into the Metro League Teams will be ineligible to participate in the TACT program. Players who are unsuccessful with selection into Metro League, can still trial for the TACT program.

Cost for the program will be approximately $200 per player – TBC

Congratulations to the following 14/u athletes who have been chosen to represent WDNA in the Metro League competition. We have also named 3 training partners who will train with the team in the lead up to the competition, but will be eligible to trial for TACT. Train on players may be brought into the program to replace any injuries throughout the competition.

Players must complete “Team Acceptance” by December 2, 2019.

Congratulations to the following athletes chosen in the 16/u, 18/u and Open squads. Team selection will be in the new year.

Players must complete “Squad Acceptance’ by December 2, 2019.
