Association Umpire Development Officer (Green Shirt)

WDNA are seeking applications from suitable people for these two roles. Duties include

 Be present at WDNA on Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:00noon (Green Shirt AUDO) and from 11:00am to 5:30pm (Senior Squad AUDO) from May to September 2023.

 Call for squad applications and arrange selection process for same.

 Coordinate rosters

 Attend to squad umpiring matters during games at WDNA;

 Liaise with ADO for TACT trials and Training, as required;

 Attend the Fuel to Go & Play Carnival and coordinate umpires for the event held over the long weekend in June;

 Organise and conduct Umpire clinics over the school holidays;

 Conduct or arrange umpire education courses as and when required;

The ideal applicant would have good organisation and communication skills, hold a current B or C badge and whilst experience in umpiring at an elite level is an advantage, it is not essential. Experience with Office is essential. We envisage that each role will require approximately 20-25hr per week, however this can be discussed further with the successful applicant. The roles are to commence asap.

An attractive hourly rate plus superannuation is offered to the successful applicant.
