The Talented Athletes & Coaches Training (TACT) program was implemented in 2010/11 as the Association’s development pathway to ensure that, not only, are our talented players are given the best opportunity to progress along the Netball Player pathway (this can be found on the Netball Australia website – http://netball.com.au/get-involved/player-pathways/ ), but that our Coaches are also provided with the best training and mentoring available to assist with their development and progression.

There are three stages to the TACT program – Trials, Development Squad and Association Representative Squad.  Training sessions are all held on Monday nights between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

The selection process for the 2018 TACT Program has changed to ensure that all athletes are given an equal opportunity to trial (whether they played at WDNA in 2017 and will be continuing on or new to WDNA in 2018). There will be a trial fee of $10.00 per player which will need to be paid on arrival at trials.
